Aircraft Upholstery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Upholstery Technician to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and installing high-quality upholstery and trim items in aircraft interiors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and fabricate custom upholstery and trim items to meet customer specifications.
- Interpret design and engineering drawings to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Mentor and train junior technicians to develop their skills and expertise.
- Contribute to process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in upholstery and trim work, with a minimum of 2 years in aircraft upholstery.
- Advanced knowledge of upholstery and sewing processes and products.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand proficiently the English language.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in material tracking systems.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work in small restricted areas, and lift up to 40 pounds.
