YOUR ROLE

As the Head Barista, you will play a pivotal role in leading the café and food & beverage team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service during breakfast, lunch, and brunch periods. You will set the standard for guest engagement and team collaboration, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Embody and promote the core values of People, Place, and Character, ensuring your team reflects these principles in their interactions.
  • Oversee the timely preparation and presentation of café offerings, maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory effectively, minimizing waste and ensuring the café is well-stocked and organized.
  • Conduct regular inspections of café areas to uphold cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance the café's offerings and ensure a cohesive guest experience.

LEADERSHIP QUALITIES
  • Provide guidance and support to your team through coaching and constructive feedback.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions, serving as a role model within the community.
  • Develop expertise in café operations and the culinary offerings, sharing knowledge with team members.
  • Demonstrate business acumen by aligning departmental initiatives with operational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a café environment, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation, enhancing the guest experience through product expertise.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and systems.
  • Ability to maintain certifications related to food safety and alcohol service.
  • Physical capability to perform the duties required, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
