Job Title: Senior Building Designer

About the Role:
Sherman Carter Barnhart Architects is an interdisciplinary design practice offering a range of services including architecture, interior design, structural engineering, and site design. Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have earned a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture and have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the design team to generate and develop design ideas, producing design and construction documents, presentation drawings, graphic design work, and digital models using various software tools. The successful candidate will also attend field site inspections, participate in project team meetings, and be self-directed with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 3-5 years of experience with Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software such as Sketchup, Lumion, and Twinmotion
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay on task and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
