Job Summary:

Option Care Health is seeking a highly skilled Compounding Pharmacy Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy staff, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
  • Prepare medications for accurate compounding.
  • Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to ensure correct dosages.
  • Ensure quality standards are met by reviewing and inspecting compounded and packaged medications.
  • Collaborate with licensed pharmacists to ensure all compounding and packaging is inspected and approved.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification preferred.
  • Licensed or registered in the state of practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous healthcare or pharmacy technician experience.
