The program provides a comprehensive curriculum that includes lecture and simulation education, peer support, and preceptor-led clinical experiences. Our goal is to help our residents develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed as professional nurses.
The program is accredited with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs, demonstrating our commitment to quality and excellence.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience and location.
Job Description
We are seeking experienced registered nurses to join our team as nurse residency specialists. As a nurse resident, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain valuable experience in medical and surgical nursing units. Our teams serve an adolescent/adult/geriatric population with a wide variety of complex diagnoses and surgical procedures.
As a nurse resident, your primary responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in ongoing education and training opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to develop leadership skills and advance your nursing career through our Clinical Ladder program.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must be a licensed registered nurse with less than 12 months of experience. A Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred. You must also be eligible for Delaware licensure as a Graduate Nurse/Registered Nurse or multi-state RN from a compact state.
