Nurse Residency Opportunity for Progressive Care Track Professionals

Christianacare, a renowned 3-time Magnet Status Hospital, is seeking talented nursing professionals to join its Nurse Residency Program: Progressive Care Track. This esteemed program offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates and experienced nurses to develop their skills and advance their careers in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
The Nurse Residency Program is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs. Research demonstrates that new to practice nurses completing a structured and accredited residency program leads to:

- Reduced self-reported stress

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in our intermediate or transitional level step-down units at our Newark or Wilmington campuses. You will complete preceptor-led training followed by continued residency meetings during months 6, 8, 10, and 12 to further develop as professional nurses and integral members of our caregiver team.

This exciting curriculum integrates lecture and simulation education, peer support, and up to 16 weeks of preceptor-led clinical experiences structured to foster critical thinking, evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, effective communication, quality and safety, and professional development.
To be eligible for this program, you must have graduated from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred), hold a valid RN license in the State of Delaware or a compact state, and have less than 12 months of nursing experience.
