Nurse Residency Program Specialist

As a nursing professional, you're invited to elevate your career with ChristianaCare's Nurse Residency Program. This comprehensive program is designed for new RNs with less than 12 months of experience, offering a structured transition to practice.
We're committed to supporting our nurses in achieving their full potential. Our Nurse Residency Program provides a strong foundation for nursing practice in a fast-paced environment, fostering critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
You'll have the opportunity to work on various medical and surgical units at our Newark and Wilmington campuses, serving an adolescent/adult/geriatric population with complex diagnoses and surgical procedures.
The program includes:
- Lecture and simulation education
- Peer support
- Preceptor-led clinical experiences for up to 16 weeks (dependent on individual needs)
Our Nurse Residency Program is accredited with distinction as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.
Upon successful completion, you'll have built a strong foundation for nursing practice, prepared to advance your skills and knowledge in a dynamic healthcare setting.
**Estimated Salary: $63,000 - $90,000 per year**, depending on location and experience. Benefits include a robust package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, starting day one.
