The Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is a tax-exempt organization affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals. We directly employ nearly 4,000 physicians and allied health professionals who serve seven of New York City's public hospitals, numerous public health clinics, and the city's Correctional Health Service.
Salary
This is an excellent opportunity to earn a competitive salary, with an annual base salary range of $215,000 - $220,000. Total compensation depends on many factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, and collections.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Neonatologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. This Level III Neonatal ICU provides advanced care to preemies 22 weeks and onwards, with services including bubble CPAP, conventional and high-frequency ventilators, and nitric oxide. As a member of our team, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Attend high-risk deliveries and manage preterm and full-term newborns
* Participate in precepting and supervising interns and residents, contributing to hospital and department subcommittees
* Supervise residents' clinical performance and lead bedside discussions and lectures
* Diagnose and manage patients in the Neonatal ICU, leveraging your expertise to drive exceptional patient outcomes
* Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to resident education and development
