We are seeking an experienced Line Operator to join our dynamic team at Dura-Line, an Orbia business. As a key player in our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for setting up and operating HDPE extrusion lines, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment to ensure the proper handling and packaging of conduit pipes.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate the accurate winding of conduit pipes onto reels for shipment.
  • Assist in line start-ups, reel changes, and ensure the correct reel is prepared for start-up.
  • Monitor and adjust machinery to maintain continuous stripe, print, and footage markings.
  • Review product and equipment throughout the shift to confirm material and quality requirements are met.
  • Ensure all products are produced free from cosmetic and physical defects and within manufacturing tolerances.
  • Cut conduit, tie off, and cap conduit at the completion of each reel.
Requirements
  • 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment or related industry.
  • Strong attendance record, team player, and commitment to reliability.
  • Safety-focused with the ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Capable of standing on feet throughout 8-hour shifts around hot machinery.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and basic math and measurement skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of quality requirements.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
