We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for CT procedures, collecting relevant information and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate CT scanners, performing procedures with precision and accuracy, and able to learn and/or perform MRI exams.
- Monitor patients' conditions, practicing and enforcing radiation safety protocols, and adhering to hospital and regulatory policies.
- Compile accurate records, administer contrast media as required, and participate in continuing education activities to expand knowledge of CT and meet ARRT requirements.
- Take call after regular hours as assigned, maintain supplies, and ensure the primary area is clean and organized.
- Experience in Radiologic Technology, with a preferred one year dedicated CT experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, with a preferred successful completion of formal computer courses.
- ARRT registered, with a requirement to obtain CT Registry within six months and BLS within 90 days of employment.
