Join Carilion Clinic as a Radiologic Technologist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. As a member of our Imaging Services team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients appropriately for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after procedures according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines
  • Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR, DR, and PACS
  • Position patients to obtain quality images
  • Perform IV contrast injections, urinary catheterizations, and/or other skills as required
  • Participate in the training of students and staff as assigned

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry required
  • Virginia state license required to work in an ambulatory setting
  • AHA BLS-HCP required
