We are seeking an experienced Mission Operations Trainer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Training Division, you will be responsible for developing and delivering operations training curriculum to government customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop training material to support automated scenarios, mission exercises, and certification check rides for customers and internal operations personnel.
- Work with the Systems Engineering Lead to identify training needs and develop training plans and curriculum, including reference guides, operational guides, and evaluation tools.
- Collaborate with mission operations personnel to ensure training curriculum and scenarios accurately represent current operational documentation used during on-orbit checkout and commissioning of satellites, as well as during execution of primary mission(s).
- Support system development activities, such as requirements management, architecture development, integration, and test, and formal program milestones.
- Develop and deliver Orbit Analysis and mission planning training to internal and external trainees.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 9 years of related experience.
- Top Secret SSBI/SCI clearance required.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Advanced Orbital Mechanics education/training.
- Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) mission planning/operations experience.
- Experience with MS Office Suite products.
- STEM Bachelor's degree.
- Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Web/video-based training development experience.
- Instructional System Design experience.
- Lesson plan development.
- Simulation/scenario development.
- Test/Quiz Development.
- Experience utilizing training development tools such as Camtasia or Adobe Captivate.
