You will work autonomously, providing essential technical services to maintain ice machines across diverse locations, all while ensuring a superior customer experience.
The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to clean, maintain, troubleshoot, and install ice machines, focusing on extending equipment lifespan and reliability. Your efforts will contribute to minimizing service calls and emergency ice purchases, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. We expect our technicians to strive for excellence in their work and inspire their peers to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service and support during field visits, prioritizing positive customer relationships.
- Perform replacements of compressors, expansion valves, and other refrigeration components as necessary.
- Oversee on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and testing tasks.
- Diagnose service issues down to the component level.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior technicians and installers.
- Complete detailed service reports for each job, including digital documentation of issues encountered.
- Procure necessary parts and supplies in the field as required.
- Maintain and operate the company vehicle in accordance with established guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven field service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
- Possession of a Refrigeration or EPA Universal License is required.
- Strong understanding of company policies and procedures.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvements that enhance customer experiences.
- Commitment to continuous learning about the industries we serve and the products we offer.
- Excellent decision-making, analytical problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
