We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Production Support Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Radar and Receiver Exciter Department, you will be responsible for solving complex design and manufacturing problems, providing innovative solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot hardware, test station, and process issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Resolve design issues on production lines and with suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Perform analog and digital circuit analysis, including characterization, modeling, and simulation of electrical signals in electronics subsystems.
- Identify and instantiate circuit card and subassembly design updates, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Lead the transition to production of new Receiver Exciter Products, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Partner with the development of test equipment and establishment of test requirements and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years' of prior work experience, or an Advanced degree and minimum 3 years' of prior work experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of Engineering experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed signal circuit design or analysis, and/or digital signal processing.
- Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave component/subsystem such as up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, RF modulators, and limiters.
- Leadership of small technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, earned value tracking & reporting, coordination, and preparation of detailed technical team reports.
- Experience with subsystems integration and test, test equipment, and test automation.
- Experience in applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements.
