Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Johns Hopkins Health System. As a Float Pool RN, you will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to adult patients in various units within the organization.

About the Role

The Float Pool Registered Nurse is a versatile and highly skilled healthcare professional responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients facing a variety of medical and surgical conditions. You will work closely with our passionate and driven leadership team to ensure patient safety, clinical excellence, and life-long learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to adult patients in various units within the organization
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based care practices
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Nursing required
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required

Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire.
