The Safety Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the safety of our construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the project
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field
  • 1-3 years of construction safety experience
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
