Internship Overview:
We are currently seeking a part-time Sustainability and Agricultural Education Intern to join our team at the Basking Ridge campus. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about sustainability and education, providing an opportunity to engage in hands-on learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
The intern will assist in the management of our educational farm and sustainability initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the farm, garden, greenhouse, and composting facilities.
  • Participating in the care of livestock and the upkeep of the trail network.
  • Collaborating with faculty and students on sustainability projects and extracurricular activities.
  • Supporting the Assistant Director of Experiential Education with various farm-related tasks.

Internship Details:
This is a part-time position, requiring up to 20 hours per week over a flexible schedule. The intern will gain valuable insights into sustainable practices and educational farming.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will be current students or recent graduates with a strong interest in sustainability education. Essential attributes include:

  • A love for the outdoors and a willingness to engage in physical work.
  • The ability to lift and carry weights between 25-50 pounds.
