Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Equipment Technician to join our team at Arkansas Electric. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test electrical equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Coordinate with other workers to schedule repairs and maintenance
  • Operate cranes, forklifts, and other equipment to move large objects and materials
  • Assemble and install substation steel and concrete forms
  • Interpret construction plans and specifications to ensure accurate work execution

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of work week
  • Must wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Valid driver's license and post-offer fit for duty physical
