Job Summary

Dodge County is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Finance Director will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and oversight to ensure the effective management of our financial resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage and supervise a team of financial professionals to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to secure funding opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and laws to ensure compliance and to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of financial professionals.
