Occupational Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in El Mirage, Arizona.
Job Description:We are committed to providing comprehensive and integrated care to children with autism and their families. Our Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in developing and implementing naturalistic occupational therapy programs for young children aged 2-6 years old in a center-based setting.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, a license to practice occupational therapy, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. They will be responsible for planning and implementing interventions to support client gross motor skills, fine motor skills, feeding, and other activities of daily living.
The Occupational Therapist will also conduct multidisciplinary assessments, create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties, and perform co-treatments with the speech therapy team. They will coach and mentor a team of RBTs to effectively translate OT goals into their therapy and support their career growth and progression.
The successful candidate will be a team player who embodies a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children. They will have clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing, and be able to partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress, and coach and support them in their journey.
