MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, achieving high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
- Screen patients and staff for magnet safety
- Communicate with patients and medical staff regarding MR safety questionnaire and clinical history
- Prepare scan rooms for procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Administer contrast materials as prescribed by a physician or in approved Radiology protocol
- Know and implement emergency procedures as needed
- Perform department and hospital-related computer functions
- Exhibit competency in performing quality control tasks
- ARRT registered in Radiology & MRI or ARRT registered in MRI or ARMRIT certification
- BLS certified
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
This position is located at the Oconee Medical Campus and requires a Day shift schedule.
