At Chestnut Health Systems, we are seeking a skilled Community Inclusion Specialist to join our team. This full-time, 2nd shift position will play a critical role in supporting individuals and families in recovery from substance use disorder.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate grant activities to promote recovery and well-being in Clinton County, Illinois.
  • Establish and maintain community partnerships to support individuals and families in recovery.
  • Facilitate meetings, recruit new members, and maintain communication with community groups.
  • Help develop plans for grant and contract work, and mentor new staff.
  • Represent the agency in local and state advocacy groups, coalitions, and collaborations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, public health, or a behavioral health-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office, Zoom, and online reporting software skills.
  • Valid drivers' license and private auto insurance.
  • Ability to obtain DCFS CANTS Child Abuse Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Resident of Clinton or surrounding County.
  • Knowledge of community-based prevention and community organizing, prevention theory and strategies, and substance use and related research.
