Position Summary

This role is crucial for overseeing employees within the designated area and executing supervisory responsibilities in alignment with the organization's policies and relevant laws.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the daily activities of team members, ensuring effective planning, assignment, and direction of work.
• Conduct interviews, hiring, and training of new staff.
• Evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and implementing rewards or disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Address employee complaints and resolve workplace issues.
• Ensure the safety of all employees and maintain safe working conditions in the area of responsibility.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A. Education and Experience:
• Associate's degree and a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma with at least 7 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.

B. Preferred Qualifications:
• Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Familiarity with custom manufacturing processes, including fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, testing, and manufacturing engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in lean manufacturing methodologies.

C. Interpersonal Skills:
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Capacity to motivate and inspire team members.
• Proficient in maintaining effective relationships with senior management.
• Ability to present information clearly and respond to inquiries effectively.

D. Technical Skills:
• Proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as technical drawings, safety regulations, and operational manuals.
• Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Skilled in performing calculations related to discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
• Adept at resolving practical problems and managing various concrete variables.
