Position Overview:

The Branch Supervisor is tasked with overseeing and managing all operational aspects of the facility, focusing on safety, sales performance, transaction quality, inventory precision, customer satisfaction, facility upkeep, employee relations, and overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold comprehensive training, inspection, and corrective action protocols to foster a safe working environment.
  • Assume full P&L accountability. Formulate and manage profit strategies, plans, and budgets.
  • Comprehend, advocate, adapt, and lead the organization's overarching 80/20 philosophy at the Service Center level.
  • Continuously recruit, mentor, and nurture both new and existing talent through dynamic leadership.
  • Devise and execute strategies for the Service Center's growth, concentrating on meeting local, regional, and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee and direct facility operations related to sales, customer service, transaction quality, inventory precision, facility maintenance, and logistics.
  • Coordinate and assess daily facility operations to ensure compliance with defined customer service and transaction accuracy standards.
  • Develop process maps and enforce adherence to internal Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Evaluate performance metrics against established goals in safety, transaction accuracy, inventory precision, equipment inspection, and other administrative functions.
  • Address challenges within the product/material flow and implement measures to guarantee that transactions are executed accurately at all times.
  • Manage all administrative responsibilities, including facility and equipment maintenance, OSHA compliance, fuel management, and purchasing controls.
  • Collaborate with functional support teams to drive profitable sales, ensure an efficient supply chain, cultivate a productive workforce, and uphold financial integrity.
  • Control and reduce labor overtime, premium freight, and repair costs without compromising safety.
  • Provide leadership and training to achieve the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Proven experience in sales, sales management, and customer service, with supervisory experience over a team of four or more.
  • Distribution Background - ideally within the Building Materials sector.
  • Prior experience in operations management is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel locally during business hours and occasionally overnight.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
  • Capability to lift and move up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 120 pounds.
