Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum for practical nursing students
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in the classroom and clinical settings
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with program directors to develop and implement program standards
  • Maintain accurate student records and provide personal and academic counseling
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical site representatives
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate degree or Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
  • Three (3) years of occupational (i.e., practical) experience as a nurse providing direct patient care
  • Current New Mexico RN license, certification, or other credential as required by local, state, and federal laws to work as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computer skills

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule to accommodate student needs. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
