We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Administrator Principal to join our team at Scottsdale Community College. As a key member of our Information Technology Services division, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our information systems assets.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement security hardware and software to protect our systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
- Provide guidance and direction to other functional units on information security best practices.
- Conduct training and awareness programs for campus stakeholders on technical and non-technical security topics.
- Monitor campus-wide IT infrastructure and systems to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and at least 7 years of technical experience in planning and overseeing information technology initiatives. You should also have a strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
