Job Title: Information Assurance Engineer

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking an experienced Information Assurance Engineer to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform security requirements analysis, security requirements definition, system security design, security architecture generation, security trade studies, and security verification and validation with little or no supervision.
  • Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by recognizing and incorporating various security designs and lessons learned.
  • Lead efforts to categorize vulnerabilities and document recommendations.
  • Collaborate with program stakeholders, including product owners, developers, lab personnel, and Systems Security Engineering team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), STIGs, and other government security specifications and guidelines.
  • Active cybersecurity certifications such as ISC2 CISSP.
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs, including nomenclature and tooling.
  • Familiarity with DoD security tools ACAS / Nessus, HBSS / EPO, SCC, etc.
