About This Role

At T-Mobile, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling to Local Government accounts, renewing contracts, increasing customer satisfaction, and improving revenue while driving customer retention activity.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • New Sales activities: You will be the hunter of new government sales opportunities, exceeding monthly sales, renewal, and churn target goals.
  • Account Management and Maintenance Activities: You will establish and cultivate customer relationships to drive sales and increase customer base, complete customer account maintenance resulting from account reviews, provide account analysis to resolve up-sell and renewal offers, monitor and resolve customer issues, track individual account activity and results.
  • Extensive data entry, system navigation, and utilization required, including independent analysis and decision making related to information.
  • Completes continuous training to maintain knowledge of products, services, and sales approaches.
  • Attains efficiency and sales goals based on targeted metrics.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Selling to Government (State and Local) accounts (Required)
  • Customer service experience (Preferred)
  • Business markets sales experience (Preferred)
  • Wireless industry sales experience (Preferred)
  • Technical sales experience (Preferred)
