Production Planning Manager

Karman Space & Defense is a leading supplier of metallic and composite flight hardware and sub-assemblies for the space, missile, and hypersonic markets. We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Master Scheduler to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in project scheduling, planning, and coordination, with experience working in a fast-paced environment. They will be able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, present complex information in a clear and concise manner, and prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The salary for this role is approximately $100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of cooperation and shared accountability for project success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a master schedule for all projects, programs, or operations within the organization.
- Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather scheduling requirements, resolve conflicts, and optimize resource allocation.
- Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables against the master schedule, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Identify potential scheduling risks and constraints, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain schedule integrity.
- Provide regular updates and reports on schedule performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, planning, or coordination.
- Experience with project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
