Overview

At RealTruck, a leading manufacturer and digital destination of accessories for truck, Jeep, Bronco and off-road enthusiasts, we are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our cross-functional Engineering team. As part of this role, you will work on developing new products and product extensions to support current product lines.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical product design, with experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks. You will be responsible for designing and developing new products, including planning, conceptualizing, and testing processes. Additionally, you will coordinate with development teams, perform engineering calculations, and create design documentation for release to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop designs to support existing and new product offerings
  • Conduct testing and validation of new designs
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and vendors
  • Create detailed documentation to track project development and design process
  • Ensure project timeline is met and budget is maintained

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical product design required
  • Experience in metal part design and associated mass production processes
  • Valid Driver's License and clear DMV record
