Key Responsibilities:

Launch Planning:

  • Create and sustain a thorough launch plan, detailing timelines, milestones, and interdependencies.
  • Work alongside product management and engineering teams to outline the scope and objectives for each launch.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and challenges that may affect the launch schedule or quality.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Serve as the main contact for all activities related to the launch.
  • Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on launch objectives and timelines.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on launch progress, risks, and challenges.

Launch Execution:

  • Supervise the execution of launch activities, ensuring timely completion of all tasks to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate final testing and quality assurance processes to confirm that the product meets all necessary criteria prior to launch.
  • Manage the deployment process, ensuring a seamless product launch without significant issues.

Post-Launch Activities:

  • Monitor the product after launch to ensure it operates as intended.
  • Collaborate with customer support and engineering teams to resolve any issues that may arise post-launch.
  • Conduct a retrospective analysis of the launch process, identifying areas for enhancement and applying lessons learned.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain precise and current documentation for all launch activities, including plans, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and distribute launch reports to stakeholders, summarizing key metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Top Secret security clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, project management, or a related role, with a minimum of 2 years specifically managing product launches.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and perform well under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
