Job Summary:

The Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language disorder services to pediatric patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of communicative sciences and disorders, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and evaluate patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being
  • Provide interventions for deficits and elicit responses
  • Participate in the coordination of care
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Maintain current knowledge of client's condition through observation and document any changes in client condition to the client file
Qualifications:
  • Baccalaureate degree in communicative sciences and disorders
  • Proof of completion of expected semester and clinical hours
  • Current license as a speech-language assistant
  • Prefer one year experience in acute care, rehabilitation setting, or home health
