About the Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for providing direct, evidence-based care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. This includes administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and documenting patient information in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as phlebotomy and ECGs
  • Document patient information, including medical history, allergies, and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Vocational School Graduate degree and be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of practice. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
