Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Technician to join our team at Terracon. As a Construction Materials Technician, you will be responsible for performing field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials. You will work closely with project managers, engineering technicians, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel.
  • Communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, and clients to discuss project requirements, testing, observation, and inspection results.
  • Transport material samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis.
  • Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observation in the form of written and digital reports.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
  • Assist with scheduling and dispatch of technicians to project sites.
  • Adhere to strict safety standards and report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
