Construction Materials Testing Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team at ECS Southwest, LLP. As a key member of our construction materials testing team, you will be responsible for conducting field observations, testing, and sampling of materials on construction project sites.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct field activities, including observation, testing, and sampling of materials, under the guidance of senior technicians and project managers.
- Perform routine field and laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete using various methodologies and testing equipment.
- Collect and analyze data, including calculations and data reduction, to ensure accurate results.
- Communicate effectively with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance professional skills and certifications.
- No prior experience required; paid training provided.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
- Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Ability to work effectively with contractors, peers, and supervisors.
