- Oversees the daily analysis and management of patient safety incident documentation.
- Collaborates with departmental leaders to ensure comprehensive incident evaluations.
- Conducts thorough root cause analyses and formulates corrective action strategies for significant events.
- Prepares detailed reports on root cause analyses for presentation to senior leadership.
- Facilitates Common Cause Analyses and coordinates quality improvement initiatives.
- Evaluates the success of safety enhancement efforts through established metrics and project results.
- Assesses the effectiveness of patient safety programs by engaging in relevant activities.
- Implements proactive risk assessments and improvement strategies.
- Encourages collaborative participation in quality improvement processes.
The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited clinical or technical program in Allied Health. A Nebraska Registered Nurse license with a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience is essential, with a focus on quality improvement being advantageous.
