Evening Oncall Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking a dedicated Full-time Night Shift Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team at Bethany Hospice & Palliative Care.
Role Summary:
This position involves managing triage calls from Monday to Friday, starting at 5 PM and concluding at 8 AM. The role typically requires making an average of 2 visits and handling 2 calls each night. Enjoy the benefits of a full-time salary while averaging only 15-20 hours of work weekly. This is an excellent opportunity for those who prefer nighttime hours and seek flexibility during the day.
Compensation:
Salary can reach up to $75,000, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to patient calls and provide necessary care and support.
- Conduct home visits as required, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with professional standards and practices.
- Document patient interactions and care provided in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Active RN License in Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience; hospice experience is advantageous.
- Possession of a vehicle, valid driver's license, and car insurance.
- Understanding of hospice care principles and the needs of terminally ill patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Strong communication and observational skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing situations.
