About Us

Cerritos Vista Healthcare Center is a 140-bed skilled nursing facility that specializes in transitional care for the geriatric population following hospitalization. Our mission is to assist residents in their recovery journey, enabling them to return to a lower level of care and ultimately back to their homes.

Your Role as a Patient Care Assistant

As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personal care to our residents under the guidance of licensed nursing staff. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and dining
  • Facilitating recreational activities and outings
  • Maintaining an organized and efficient unit
  • Performing additional tasks as required

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should possess:
  • Active certification as a Nursing Assistant with completion of a recognized CNA program
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19, including any required boosters
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Physical capability to assist residents, including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • A compassionate approach towards residents and their families

Compensation

The pay range for this position is between $20.00 and $21.00 per hour, depending on various factors such as experience, skills, and knowledge.
