Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of tax experience in public accounting.
  • 2-4 years of experience in reviewing corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  • Experience managing client relationships.
  • Possession of a Colorado CPA license or actively pursuing certification or Enrolled Agent status.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax return preparation process. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed working papers and individual tax returns for review by management. You will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all filings. A strong understanding of tax software will be essential for your role.

Core Duties:

  • Preparation of amended tax returns of varying complexity.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of tax regulations to effectively address client inquiries.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of depreciation and related software.
  • Expand expertise in tax issues pertaining to corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Handle confidential client information with discretion.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
