Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of tax-related experience in public accounting.
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in reviewing corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Possession of a Colorado CPA license or actively pursuing certification as an Enrolled Agent.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax return preparation process. Your duties will include preparing detailed working papers and individual tax returns for review by Managers and Partners. You will manage your own client base, reviewing and signing off on returns. You will also develop a strong understanding of tax software to streamline the preparation and review process. This role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in individual income tax returns who thrive in client-facing situations and work well independently.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation of amended tax returns of varying complexity.
  • Continuous development of knowledge regarding tax regulations to address client inquiries.
  • Understanding and utilizing depreciation software effectively.
  • Expanding expertise in tax issues affecting corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Handling confidential client information with discretion.
  • Performing additional duties as required.
