Key Responsibilities:


• Significantly contribute to overall client satisfaction and the firm’s revenue and profitability objectives.


• Secure positive feedback from clients.


• Meet minimum billing hours (utilization) on a monthly and annual basis.


• Achieve effective rate targets on a monthly and annual basis.


• Cultivate new client referral sources for business development annually, fostering growth for the Practice and Firm.


• Develop and implement team policies and procedures.

Qualifications:


• Minimum of 8 years of experience.


• Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law institution.


• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.


• LLM preferred (equivalent qualifications considered).

Skills and Competencies:


• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and performing various tasks to ensure clients receive optimal and cost-effective legal solutions.


• Familiarity with tiered entities, corporate conversions, complex partnership agreements (including profits interests), S-corporation F-reorganizations, IP holding companies, 1202/Qualified Small Business Stock, ESOPs, Qualified Opportunity Zones, captive insurance, and charitable planning structures.


• Knowledge of tax-free acquisition/merger structures, 1031 like-kind exchanges, and developer/land banking structures for real estate.


• Formulate implementation strategies and coordinate the preparation of relevant documents.


• Exceptional drafting skills, with the ability to identify and select the most suitable solutions.


• Strong organizational abilities and a self-starter mentality, capable of prioritizing and managing workflow to meet deadlines.


• Experience in mergers & acquisitions, secured lending transactions, and general corporate matters.


• Understanding of employment profit sharing and retirement exit strategies.


• Ideal candidates will exhibit natural leadership qualities along with outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.


• Willingness to mentor and supervise junior attorneys.


• Continuous collaboration with Corporate and M&A attorneys.


• Commitment to a long-term, fulfilling career.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $150,000-$180,000 based on experience, accompanied by an attractive bonus structure.
