About the Opportunity:

Join a dynamic team in Atlantic City as a Corporate Debt Recovery Specialist, where you will be responsible for tracking and collecting gaming balances owed to the casino. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team in Atlantic City. As a key member of our debt recovery team, you will be responsible for:

  • Tracking and entering all contact with customers having balances
  • Communicating with Marketing staff and other levels of casino and company management regarding customer gaming balances
  • Communicating with customers via phone or other FDCPA-approved means to collect gaming balances owed
  • Making high-level logic-based decisions to best benefit the profitability of the casino in both short and long-term perspectives
  • Performing daily duties, including utilizing the daily debtor scroll, creating and updating customer CMS accounts, and entering payments on written-off items

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the daily debtor scroll to track and enter contact with customers having balances
  • Communicate with Marketing staff and other levels of casino and company management regarding customer gaming balances
  • Communicate with customers via phone or other FDCPA-approved means to collect gaming balances owed
  • Make high-level logic-based decisions to best benefit the profitability of the casino in both short and long-term perspectives
  • Perform daily duties, including:
  • Creating and updating customer CMS accounts to include personal information, bank information, dispositions, and alteration of deposit dates
  • Entering payments on written-off items
  • Changing agency assignment status for individual returned items
  • Changing returned items to write-off status

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the casino industry preferred
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficient with Windows Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Able to learn new Casino Database programs as required
