About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning in children aged 3-6.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and Support: Closely observe each child to understand their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs, and provide individualized support to help them reach their full potential.
  • Environment Preparation: Prepare a beautiful and orderly environment that encourages concentration, independence, and deep learning, and maintain a safe and healthy space for children to thrive.
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children, and provide opportunities for them to explore and learn at their own pace.
  • Communication: Establish strong relationships with parents and colleagues, and maintain open and respectful communication to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Training: Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and be committed to ongoing professional development and training in Montessori principles and practices.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children aged 3-6 in a group setting, and be familiar with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori.
  • Skills and Qualities: Demonstrate a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
