We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher/Extended Day Program Coordinator to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of children aged 0-6 in a Montessori environment.
Your Role:
- Observe and understand the unique needs of each child, providing personalized support and guidance.
- Prepare a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters independence, concentration, and a love of learning.
- Design and implement individual and small-group lessons to support each child's development, using the Montessori method.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
- Lead the introduction and implementation of curriculum to our extended day programming, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all.
- Oversee and execute all program logistics, including scheduling, staff supervision, curriculum practices, and material procurement.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children aged 0-6.
- Teacher qualifications required by the state of Massachusetts.
