Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team at TechStarsGroup. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our cutting-edge system designed to enhance the analysis and understanding of electronic medical records (EMRs).

The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and impact of our system on the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for crafting and executing robust ETL processes to enable smooth extraction, transformation, and loading of healthcare data into our AI system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to maintain compliance with standard data exchange protocols.
  • Refine data workflows and integration methods to boost the efficiency and dependability of our AI system.
  • Diagnose and remedy integration issues to maintain uninterrupted data processing.
  • Enforce data validation and quality checks to uphold the accuracy and integrity of the healthcare data managed by our AI system.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data integration roles, specifically dealing with healthcare data.
  • Proficiency with FHIR and/or HL-7.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare data exchange protocols and interoperability norms.
  • Acquaintance with various healthcare data formats and structures.
  • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Proficiency in ETL and data orchestration tools and platforms.
  • Skilled in developing Python-based solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with MongoDB.
  • Experience in healthcare technologies and ecosystems, such as Epic or Cerner.
