The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing robust ETL processes, guaranteeing efficient and precise merging of varied data formats and structures, and applying extensive understanding of healthcare information standards to ensure seamless system interoperability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute robust ETL processes to enable smooth extraction, transformation, and loading of healthcare data into our system.
  • Guarantee efficient and precise merging of varied data formats and structures.
  • Apply extensive understanding of healthcare information standards to ensure seamless system interoperability, including HL-7 and FHIR.
  • Work in tandem with cross-disciplinary teams to maintain compliance with standard data exchange protocols.
  • Refine data workflows and integration methods to boost the efficiency and dependability of our system in various healthcare settings.
  • Diagnose and remedy integration issues to maintain uninterrupted data processing.
  • Enforce data validation and quality checks to uphold the accuracy and integrity of the healthcare data managed by our system.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years in data integration roles, specifically dealing with healthcare data.
  • Proficiency with FHIR and/or HL-7.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare data exchange protocols and interoperability norms.
  • Acquaintance with a variety of healthcare data formats and structures.
  • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Proficiency in ETL and data orchestration tools and platforms.
  • Skilled in developing Python-based solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with MongoDB.
  • Experience in healthcare technologies and ecosystems, such as Epic or Cerner.
