Position: Janitorial Operations Supervisor

Shift:
6PM to 2:30AM (Hours may vary based on operational requirements)
Compensation:
$22.00 per hour

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
A pre-employment criminal background check is mandatory.
Ability to work independently in a healthcare setting.
Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record is essential.
For safety purposes, proficiency in English is required (optional if applicable).

Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
Experience in a mobile management capacity is preferred.
Experience working with diverse populations is a plus.
Bilingual abilities in two or more languages, including English, are advantageous.
3-5 years of supervisory experience in commercial cleaning or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the operational team, the supervisor will oversee the daily upkeep of facilities. Responsibilities include assigning tasks, inspecting completed work, and addressing complaints regarding janitorial services while implementing corrective measures.

Additional duties may involve ordering and collecting janitorial supplies and equipment, conducting inventories, performing audits, training new staff, and occasionally stepping in to cover shifts when necessary.

The supervisor will coordinate activities of staff across multiple sites engaged in janitorial services.
Tasks include:
  • Assigning cleaning duties to employees based on material and work requirements.
  • Inspecting work to ensure compliance with specifications and established standards.
  • Engaging with and coaching staff to resolve production and personnel issues.
  • Training team members in cleaning methods, procedures, and proper equipment usage.
  • Distributing cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
  • Ensuring client satisfaction with team performance.
  • Conducting regular quality inspections of assigned accounts and taking appropriate actions based on findings.
  • Holding consistent feedback discussions with staff regarding performance and development objectives.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing the company's safety protocols and training programs.

Administrative Duties:
Manage administrative responsibilities for assigned accounts, including:

timekeeping, documenting employee performance and safety incidents, and maintaining inventory of necessary supplies.
