Role Overview

At Landor, our Brand Performance team is dedicated to measuring, quantifying, and forecasting the influence of brands. This crucial work equips our clients with enhanced confidence in their strategic brand choices and their subsequent effects on business outcomes. We tackle essential inquiries posed by clients, such as: which brand strategies will yield the most significant financial benefits? How can we optimize our brand portfolio? What are the limits of our brand's potential? How do we substantiate the commercial value of our brands? We are looking for a Head of Brand Performance Strategy who will collaborate with our North America region and the Global Brand Performance team to spearhead pivotal strategic initiatives that drive brand and business transformation while expanding our modeling and analytics capabilities in North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a data-centric consultant to colleagues and clients, crafting and implementing tailored project strategies to connect and analyze diverse data sources—ranging from existing client financial information and syndicated research to new primary qualitative and quantitative studies, as well as proprietary data sets—to derive actionable insights that can influence clients and enhance the commercial impact of brands and experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with Strategy, Design, and Client Services teams as an integrated unit to develop exceptional agile brands that drive business growth.
  • Design, oversee, and interpret data from primary research initiatives to support our Brand Performance tools, including brand equity and future impact modeling, brand monetization and valuation, brand portfolio optimization, brand-led business case development, and demand opportunity planning, among others.
  • Assist the Growth and Client Services teams in crafting proposals, pitch materials, and defining scopes of work, articulating the Brand Performance strategy for each client with creativity, precision, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Global Brand Performance team to enhance, evolve, and innovate new offerings and methodologies.
  • Identify and manage relationships with Brand Performance suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Partner with the Global Brand Performance team and mentor junior team members.
  • Act as an advocate for Brand Performance within Landor, effectively communicating our processes, methodologies, and examples of our impact.
Experience Required
  • Over 10 years of experience in brand consulting or business consulting, with a solid understanding of the role of brand in driving business success.
  • Preferably experienced in B2C sectors, such as CPG, Retail, and other consumer-oriented industries.
  • Experience with applied modeling methodologies across various quantification, measurement, and predictive modeling techniques, including financial models, ROI assessment, brand valuation, commercial KPI establishment, and predictive modeling tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract and communicate insights from research and data into actionable recommendations that influence client brand and business strategies, showcasing strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
  • Proficient in designing, managing, and delivering data-driven methodologies in support of brand equity and future impact modeling, brand monetization and valuation, brand portfolio optimization, brand-led business case development, or demand opportunity planning.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in cultivating and expanding client relationships.
  • Proven track record in developing, pitching, and securing new business opportunities.
