  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) initiatives, with substantial contributions in at least two of the following Cybersecurity/Information Assurance (CS/IA) domains:
  1. CS/IA Compliance
  2. Software Assurance and Security Engineering
  3. Systems Security Architecture
  4. Systems Security Analysis
  5. Computer Network Defense (CND) Analysis
  6. Threat and Exploitation Analysis
  • Experience in leading efforts in one or more of the following CS/IA areas:
  1. Engineering design initiatives to address current or potential Fleet challenges
  2. Evaluating CS/IA technology deficiencies
  3. Overseeing the design and deployment of CS/IA technologies
  4. Supporting Department of the Navy (DoN) and/or Department of Defense (DoD) CS/IA working groups
  5. Developing and proposing innovative technical solutions to previously unaddressed CS/IA gaps, significantly influencing future capabilities in the CS/IA Science and Technology sector.
  • Experience in evaluating, analyzing, and providing recommendations related to CND, High Assurance, and Information System Security Engineering (ISSE) for critical CS/IA capabilities encompassing Navy General Service (GENSER) National Service Systems (NSS) and Demand-based Switching (DBS), including non-traditional Information Systems, combat weapon systems, shipboard aviation systems, Hull/Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Navy Control Systems (NCS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
  • At least one (1) year of experience is preferred in Risk Management Framework (RMF), Navy RMF Process Guide, Cybersecurity Technical Authority (CS TA) Standards, including Defense-in-Depth Functional Implementation Architecture (DFIA), CYBERSAFE, and Navy Cyber Situational Awareness (NCSA).
  • Must possess DoD Cyberspace Workforce (DCWF) Qualification and Management Program proficiency at the Intermediate or Advanced level.
Educational and Certification Requirements:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), and/or Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP), along with other advanced Cybersecurity (CS) and Information Assurance (IA) relevant certifications.
