Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer - Information Assurance

Job Summary:

FGS, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer - Information Assurance to provide IA security support services to NAVWAR PMO for programs and projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience performing cybersecurity functions in DoD or Navy organizations and proficient knowledge of MS Office software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development of an Operational Security (OPSEC) plan and Program Protection Plans (PPP)
  • Assess classified network and communications by providing expertise for Risk Management Framework (RMF), Information Security and Policy (ISP), Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) scans and certifications/audit requirements
  • Assist in reviewing existing documentation, IA controls, and DISA STIG implementations for applicability as part of developing IT system security documentation for IA compliance
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity plans for PMO systems
  • Conduct security tests and evaluation (ST&E) for accreditation or reaccreditation as required
  • Conduct threat analysis and security assessment of PMO systems
  • Recommend improvements to application security including problem analysis, recommended solutions, risk identification, and implementation of mitigation actions

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience performing cybersecurity functions in DoD or Navy organizations
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office software
  • Bachelor's Degree or six additional years' relevant experience or Associate's Degree and four additional years' relevant experience
